Audio is Hissing and Popping on Playback

Product: Flyer

Problem: Audio in a video or audio clip hisses and pops when played back.

A very common cause for this symptom is that the audio was clipped when recorded. If the audio volume on the VU meters goes off the scale at any time during recording of the clip, then the audio is clipped. A Flyer audio or video clip which contains clipped audio may or may not play fine if played by clicking on it, but will nearly always cause defective audio playback when used in a project, and may sometimes cause stuttering in audio and video. The clip must be redigitized if clipping occurs during recording.
