Does the Flyer work with SCSI-2 Fast and Wide Drives?

Yes, the Flyer will work with most SCSI-2 Fast and Wide hard drives. The drives will not, however, be operating in Wide mode. The new "Wide" SCSI-2 drives ngotiate with the host controller to which they are attached, to discover what modes the controller is capable of. If the drive does not support Wide, then the drive will adjust to operate as though it were just a SCSI-2 Fast hard drive.

You should be sure that if you are using standard 50-pin ribbon cable/headers in the drive bay into which you intend to install the new drive, that you get the appropriate connector adaptor for the drive to mate with the standard size 50-pin header.
